Let's face it: this is a code-word for Mexicans, a great many of whom desire to keep their citizenship in Mexico. I cannot imagine that any self-respecting Mexican would abase themselve by entering a Plea Mea Culpa for the sake of joining a Nation whose reputation for idiocy precedes it worldwide, and which is inhabited by people who are rude, loud-mouthed, overbearing, sex-crazed, spastic, lazy, combative, good only for spawining out-of-wedlock children by the batallion: to put it generously, Stone Cold Crazy. I would imagine that their first choice would be a solid Mexican economy, & their second choice would be an easy temporary visa category for their residence in the US, which could be periodically renewable, & impose reasonable requirements. That way they could stay on their shift.

Since early this year, I have been maneuvering to relocate my arts & cultural operation & reorganize as edlyonscyberproductions, SA Ecuador. When I get my US Passport, & can simply enter the country, hire lodgings, set up shop, work my contacts, & declare myself open for business. Under national law, I may reside thusly for 90 days before the government may require me to so much as apply for a visa. By then, I've likely met many of them at various functions. In Cancun just the other week, there was a Big Meeting, hosted by President Felipe Calderon, in which Mexico joined a new Continental Union of 25 American Nations, excluding the US & Canada. I don't know what Canada did to alienate them, but the US Built a Wall to Keep Them Out. I'll show you pictures of it.

Given that large colonies of cashiered-out sectors of US expatriots exist in Northern Mexico, maintaining P.O. Boxes in San Ysidro, & coming in once a month, checking their mail, banking their check, & shopping at WalMart, then returning to their Endless Summer in Ensenada, & given that millions of Mexican Citizens reside in the US for purposes of, by toil & thrift, to send remittances to their own communites, & at best accumulate a nest egg to invest there, I don't see why anyone has the right to call anyone an illegal immigrant, or why US-Mexican border policy should fail to to take into account the utter degree of integration which exists between the two national economies. It should be as easy for citizens to come & go easily as if I had plugged my comupter up in Ecuador.

Before I bring my political axe to the grinding stone, I wish to thank my Mexican colleagues at Lakeside McDonald's in Salem. These five years, I would not have earned a paycheck, & the Company could not have stayed in business, without your loyalty, your dedication, your diligence, your professionalism, & most of all your love, not just at Lakeside but at every store in the Roanoke Valley, I thank you for my little paycheck, & I am deeply honored to have been a part of yours. Felicadades Siempre, Edy. (Many a day they're the only normal people I converse with & many a week it's the only intelligent conversation I type on the internet. I am descended from a once-mighty German-speaking minority in the United States. My Forefathers fought for Olde Glory in German units, & worshipped God in German churches, & spoke German well into the 20th Century, in fact I'm the first generation of Bucks County natives who neither speaks nor understands Penna. Dutch. But, I quite forget myself in Spanish-language communications. Americans are officialuy encouraged to study these things, but generally prefer not to study.)

The USA is at present the world's second-largest Spanish-speaking nation, after Mexico & just ahead of Spain. Ironically, none are truly Spanish-speaking nations, because Spain has two Spanish languages together with regional languages, Catalan being the only which I can actually read, whereas Mexico uses Spanish as a common second language, but the original languages are indigenous ones that I can't even pronounce, whereas the USA has an English-speaking majority, in which some of us can actually read & write English. Not many, but if you're reading this then you're one of the Elite that they're complaining about. In fact, you're probably in league with Obama whether you like it or not.

Latinos in the USA can be written into three categories: the Native Born, the Immigrants, & the Sojourners. The Native Born are not properly part of This Debate. The definition of the Immigrant is one who enters the USA from Day One, with the intention of making the USA his home. Toward that end, he normally follows proper procedure from Day One. There used to be a lot of them, but not so many anymore. The third category, the Sojourners, could include anyone from a Peruvian Fulbright scholar here to earn her PhD, to a Brazilian heiress who keeps a residence in Miami for when she comes to get her pap smear & go shopping, to a Central American working the harvest, to a Mexican here to work the car wash in LA. So, the Immigrants are not part of this debate, & neither are many of the Soujournes. The ones who are, are poor, working, of Indian stock, short, copper skin, deep brown eyes, jet black hair, aquiline noses, profiles like a Mayan frieze... So let's just admit that his is really about keeping the Races in their Places, and ancient & noble ones under the thumb of modern & infamous ones, at that.

Now for the well-ground axe. Do you watch Rick Sanchez, on CNN? Well, he's one of my Facebook friends, & he keeps a list you don't want to be on. Do you know who I wanna nominate? #2, Hazelton Pa., for promulgating an illegal immigrant ordinance which resulted in the local goonocracy declaring Open Season on Latinos Wholesale, regardess of whether they were native born, or legal immigrants, or whoever. But the First Prize goes to the One the Only, State of Arizona, the Home of Sheriff Joe, the North American Pinochet! Why just this morning I heard an item on NPR, where the passed a law making it a crime for an illegal immigrant to solicit work in public. The State Legislative member who introduced it branded unAmerican anyone who opposed it. Well it would be a non-starter in our Virginai General Assembly, & My American Forefathers where serving in American Wars, in Days when your Redneck Republic was still officially Apache Country, or at least nominally part of the Spanish Empire, so you damn well think about that before you try to drum me out of my own country!!!

Solo se que Cuba es un pais digno de admirarse, que su gente es adorablemente solidaria y que no existe un sisitema politico perfecto, los quiero.

Yo no se, Ernesto, pero hay muchos gapos por toda los centros partes de America. Muchos en Norte y Suramerica, pero menos conneciones en Mexico, Centroamerica, y las islas. Mientras, es verdad tambien que alugnos norteamericanos formen vias agradables de trabajar con sus colegos mexicanos. No todos son preguisios contra ellos.
